About The Role:

As a Product Manager at Purple, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the Playout Software for stories that are powered with Hyro. You are responsible for a significant part of the product portfolio, which consists of a local Playout server and it’s brain: the Application Server and a cloud-based Content Management System alongside the internal Instance Manager tool. Working collaboratively with a fellow PM, you will be at the forefront of shaping the product strategy and vision for the portfolio.

Product Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously refine and iterate on product vision. Identify trends and opportunities to ensure our products stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital storytelling landscape. Work closely with fellow PM's, UX & Tech to align product strategies across the organization.

Roadmap and Backlog Management: Develop and maintain a robust roadmap. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market demands, and business objectives. Collaborate with the development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. Safeguarding the Sprint Rhythm and improve the processes together with the team

Team Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including support, sales, strategy, studio and management to drive successful product launches. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, inspiring excellence in product development.

Qualifications:

Proven experience of 3+ years as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a technology-driven environment.

Experience within a SaaS and hardware-focused company model would be ideal.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to understand the needs of your users and how to create value for them.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Familiarity with several software development processes and methodologies.

Ideally, you should have seen a couple of software development “kitchens”

We have 2 offices close to each other. Our first office used to be an old factory, now we turned it into a Experience Lab for our Hyro Digital Storytelling software and IX solutions.

And last year we opened our new office in Suiker Silo next to the old office. So you can visit and work from anywhere you want!

All in all, we’re a simple lot. We believe in continuous learning, rapid iterations, and that creativity is the key to solving real world problems. We don’t believe in unnecessary hierarchy, bureaucracy, or staying in the comfort zone.
